Seven Arrows Color Connection, LLC. (www.sevenconnections.com) wanted a custom application they could distribute to thier customers. The application would need to run on various portable platforms, including cell phones, Pocket PCs, and Palm Pilots. It would also need to connect to and retrieve data from an online database over the internet. Using a combination of technologies and languages, Worlebird Software was able to create an application which met thier needs.

The Public Employees Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI, a department of the government of the State of Idaho) (www.persi.state.id.us) needed work done on an internal equipment auditing and tracking system. Their existing system was written in Visual Basic and MS Access, but they couldn't spare the manpower to figure it out and make the needed changes. Worlebird Software was hired to overhaul the existing system using specifications provided by PERSI. The end result was a powerful and easy to use system that was written using software and tools they already owned and understood, allowing them to make future upgrades themselves if they wished.

SmittenMittens (www.smittenmittens.com) had their web pages all designed, but they wanted to be able to support online sales.
Worlebird Software created a database-driven shopping cart system that allowed users to select products and colors, and then purchase online using their choice of several secure payment methods. We also provided a powerful administrative control panel that allowed SmittenMittens to track their online sales, and make changes in their merchandise and price lists.

A&R Technologies (www.tv-your-way.com - now defunct) didn't need to do online sales, but they did want to allow their customers to see all of the current prices and promotions they offered. They sold DISH Network systems, and the variety of package options and prices available could quickly become very confusing. Worlebird Software created a simple to use system that allowed customers to choose their package options, and then get a complete price estimate quickly and easily. Customers could then also contact A&R Technologies directly from the web site and inquire about the offer they had received. In addition, we provided a powerful control panel that allowed A&R Technologies to easily keep their web site updated with all the most recent DISH Network prices and promotions.
